Yea you have to buy it. It's by far my favorite game, graphics aside. Many people complained that the graphics don't match those of other new games, like far cry or crysis, but the gameplay is the best thing about this. I've never seen a game where teamwork actually counts so much.

Huh .. ? The 4870 is the second best card there exists from ATI, and probably 3rd / 4th best card in the world.

I'm not talking about nvidia here ... ATI don't use the same numbers as nvidia, the 48xx series is the newest.

that's cool i go HL1 too, my brother bought it. i played it a while and the graphics are so bad xD still it's impressive to think that 10 years ago they made an engine almost as developed as the 2008 source engine.
